Under Old Town in Rhodes Greece

If your ever in Rhodes Greece take an adventured under Old Town.   Here are the pics of some of the stuff you will find..

Arive at the walls of Old Town.

Look out over the Moat (the entrance to the underground is middle right side of the picture).

When you get in the Moat there is a nice walking path.

But not all the way I would not suggest sandals

The entrance.

The entrance was formed with bricks.

Ferther inside the tunnels t was carved from the dirt and rock.

Found an old Motorcycle frame.

 

Parts of the tunnels seemed perfectly formed.

 

One of the tunnels was blocked by trash dumped from the city.

This stone had fallen from above .

The farther you get in the tunnels the more rough they get.

This Chamber was 40+ feet up.

You can see they had lights near the start of the tunnels.

One of the Tunnels led to this space about 30 feet wide adn 150 feet long

I had a lot of fun in these tunnels you may like it to.
